This page explains how participant information is handled in plain language.
Information we collect
Registration collects a participant's name, email, school, country, and grade. We collect only the information needed to run the competition, verify eligibility, communicate with participants, and publish approved results.
Participants under 13
Participants under 13 must register through a parent or teacher. The registration flow collects the adult contact details and consent needed for participation.
Public names
The public-name option is selected by default during registration. Participants can uncheck it to appear as Anonymous followed by their country, or contact us later to have their name removed.
How information may be used
Information may be used for competition administration, integrity review, award verification, certificates, results, appeals, and essential competition announcements.
Who can access registration records
The registration sheet is limited to the competition owner, Deputy Director, and Technology Lead. School coordinators receive aggregate counts, never participant records.
